- Discovered in the beginning of the 20th century, this is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Caribbean. It consists of 10 ceremonial bateyes (ball fields) of varying sizes dating back to 1200 AD. It has a small museum and petroglyphs that were carved by the Taíno Indians. More than 80 species of trees and 30 species of birds are found here.
