La Plata, the longest river in Puerto Rico, runs right through town.

This gracious town is surrounded by Aguas Buenas, Barranquitas, Cidra and Naranjito. As you would expect, this deep into the Cordillera Central, you will find a number of natural attractions and sights. To start with, the Río La Plata (the longest river in Puerto Rico) runs right through town. It is just a short walk from the plaza.

From the plaza walk around and behind the church and around the block. Here you will find a newly refurbished area and the firehouse with a beautifully maintained, classic fire truck. As you check the directory, you will see caves to visit (by appointment only), a recreation area and a panoramic overlook.

>How to go:
From Aguas Buenas take Rt 156; from Barranquitas take Rt 156; from Cidra take Rt 172 to Rt 7774; from Naranjito take Rt 167 to Rt 156.
