- Culinary festival that honors the folkloric food of the Christmas season: the Puerto Rican Pastel. A three-day expo of a wide variety of pasteles, musical & dance performance, arts and culture. The pastel (similar to, but larger than, a tamale) was originated in the Taíno culture.
