  • Opened March 11, 2004, this recreation area promotes lake sportfishing and is set on a rolling hillside with 24 new picnic shelters with BBQ grills. Anglers and their families can fish for largemouth bass and other species supplied by the Maricao Fish Hatchery. Part of a sportfish restoration project funded by the US Fish and Wildlife service and managed by the DNPR. There is another facility at Lago de Guajataca in San Sebastián. (more)
